This course is for riders with lots of trail riding experience and intermediate or higher skills looking to advance their riding.

Over 3 sessions we will review and refine core fundamental skills and maneuvers, explore movement and balance, and develop wheel lifts, pressure control and traction tactics.  Instructors will assess riders' abilities and incorporate specific training to help you advance your goals.

We have observed riders doing multiple sessions have a significant consolidation and refinement of skills leading to soaring confidence and consistent performance on the bike.

Fundamental skills include body position for stability, energy conservation, balance, climbing and braking.  Additional work includes trail scanning for line selection, wheel lifts, climbing and sprinting power, roll-downs and trail drops.  Learning is at your pace and we do not pressure riders to attempt anything that makes you uncomfortable.

We will also cover bike set-up, tire pressure and suspension adjustment to match your advancing skill set .  It is important to practice the way you play, so we highly recommend you wear your elbow and knee pads and your hydration pack.

Note that this is NOT a group ride, nor VO2 training, program.   We learn, practice develop and adapt skills on appropriate terrain and features to help you improve your riding.  We practice through repetition and adaptation.

If you would like to book for a group of friends, reach out early to plan dates! (These courses sell out!)
