2-1/2 Hour Group Lesson for Adults - (Max 10 Riders)
Times: 10:30am - 1:00pm
Following our full-up MTB Skills clinics at Mountain Fest 5 we're excited to get back to MSM with another day of skills sessions !
Again we'll start at the lodge and cover some bike set-up, review controls and position skills, and then hitting the Lake Loop to learn and practice more fundamental skills including body position, climbing cornering, trail scanning and roll downs.
Our groups are always organized based on ability and fitness on the day of the clinic. If there is enough interest, we will be offering a Level 1 and a Level 2 groups for this clinic.
Level 1 riders should be able to ride most green and blue trails on the Lake Loop and be comfortable on a 2 hours ride with lots of stops.
Level 2 riders have decent bike skills and can ride the entire Lake Loop Depending on participants, this group will work on roll-downs, cornering and technical climbing and descending. Knee pads are mandatory for Level 2. Elbow pads are strongly recommended.
If you completed the Mountain Fest clinic or one of our Larose clinics, then you MAY chose to sign up to Level 2.
Space is currently limited to 5 in each group. We may be able to add more if we run out of spots.
Email us if the season is full at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Who is this for?
This session is designed to introduce and refresh some of the basic building blocks of mountain biking. This is intended for riders with trail experience. Ideally you've ridden the Lake Loop at MSM before. Level 2 groups will work on more difficult trail features such as roll downs and technical terrain.
You're riding at MSM so we're assuming you are comfortable on parts of the Lake Loop, have all the necessary gear including a tuned bike, a good fitting helmet, eye protection, and maybe some knee and elbow pads.
