Looking for a more personal, quality mountain bike coaching experience for your kids?
These sessions are for girls and boys aged 11 to 14 year-olds who ride regularly for 1-2 hours with their families and friends and for parents who want them to have have an amazing time with a professional, fun, and experienced coach. This is not a course for kids just learning to ride.
All groups start out learning about bike controls, braking, shifting, getting on and off the bike. Then we practice good riding positions on the bike, trail scanning, how to climb, how to go down hills and how to corner. Usually we try to break out the mini-jumps at the end of practice and get comfortable with a little air here and there.
Don't forget water, snacks and a lunch if you're planning on riding all day after the lesson.
NOTE: It is really important that your child does NOT do a big ride before the lesson or they will get tired very quickly.
